A Couple of Mormon Geography Problems

Where does the Bible say the Garden of Eden was? In the Middle East.

Where did Joseph Smith say the Garden of Eden was?  Jackson County, Missouri.

Which should you believe, the Bible or Smith?  Eden was definitely in the Middle East.

1 Nephi 2:8 says,  “And it came to pass that he called the name of the river, Laman, and it emptied into the Red Sea; and the valley was in the borders near the mouth thereof.”

As the blog, “Life After Ministry” points out,

There has never been a river that empties into the Red Sea.  It’s surrounded by wilderness (desert) only.”

Just these two examples should be enough for anyone to question the Book of Mormon and its author, Joseph Smith.

Renowned apologist, theologian, and scholar Robert Boylan has answers to all these arguments plus many more. You should read his stuff because of your lack of understanding of Mormonism

Um, no he hasn't logical answers, just excuses Mormons will by.

I fully understand Mormonism. I was a Mormon until I discovered the nonsensical stuff and later became a REAL Christian. I have studied the LDS publications, etc for 40 years!

Have you actually ever read anything by that person? Tell us what you know. I'm all ears. Popular apologetics is does not accurately represent the scholarly world.

I've read the BOM, POGP, D&C, teachings of Joe Smith, BY and other presidents/prophets of the fake LDS chuch. I've studied/read hundreds, if not thousands, of stuff from all sorts of so-called Mormon scholars; Smith's "translation" of the Bible, "Gospel Principles" old and new versions, "An American Prophet's Record: The Diaries and Journals of Joseph Smith; pocket edition of "Principles of the Gospel" which I got in 1970; Joseph Smith's Testimony (crock full of lies); "Mormonism and the Negro," and a whole raft of LDS publication from decades ago to present.
I don't need to read another lying Mormon's exuses to cover for blatant lies and contradictions in LDS teachings. I fully understand Mormonism as it is written and taught and no lying arguments to cover for them is worth my time.
How about YOU spend time on this blog trying to refute what I write!

And if you aren't a coward, quit posting as Anonymous without you name. (I have many people posting on my blogs under "anonymous" but almost all sign with their names at the end of their comments.)

Anonymous,

If you think he has such good explanations, how about sharing just ONE, the one which explains the geography issues noted above.

LOL! It looks like this site has indeed bit the dust. Glenn says otherwise, but it is obvious. I've been reporting this site every day for awhile now to Google for abuse so it gets removed from the search engines. Maybe Glenn will do my work for me by no longer posting content.

Anonymous Coward,

You lie, of course. It was lies which were the foundation of Mormonism and it is lies which keeps it going. No abuse at all on my site, just factual information.

I found it using Google, but my title is similar to many others so you just have to keep looking.

If people are looking for a particular topic, it shows up. And of course and easy link is from my other blog.

As for continued posting, I'm entirely occupied most of the time and dont have much time to be writing articles. When I am able, there will be more exposing the abject fraud of the LDS.
