Mormon Women Wait In Long Lines For Debut Of Sleeveless Sacred Undergarments.

Firstly, there is no temple for Christ—HE is our temple. All the temples of the LDS are to worship a fake god. Secondly, no where in the Bible will you find any garment that makes one more holy—the whole special garment thing was made up by Joseph Smith.

When your life is wrapped up in a cult, a false god, and made up clothing rules, this is the legalistic life that follows.

I have read so many articles exposing the LDS for the false belief system that it is, that I decided it was time to share the links to some of the articles for my readers’ education. I’m more than happy to discuss any article in my links below. But first, how about a citation from LDS President Wilford Woodruff:

The Lord will never permit me or any other man who stands as President of this Church to lead you astray. It is not in the programme. It is not in the mind of God. If I were to attempt that, the Lord would remove me out of my place. (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Wilford Woodruff, pg.199.)

So let us test Woodruff’s claim and see how teachings, as noted in the articles linked to, really do lead people astray from the true God of the universe and the true Jesus Christ.

4 Reasons to Reject Restoration Claims. I think these are all excellent reasons to reject the claims.

Can anyone show me from Scripture where the LDS temples are anything like the Jewish temples, with the requirement to wear special garments which themselves keep changing over the years? Please show me from scripture and historical records where Christians had temples with the requirement for special “underwear.” 

One of my favorite books when researching Mormonism was 3,913 Changes in the Book of Mormon. Quite a think publication, but you can also read some on-line at the Utah Lighthouse Ministry. I find it difficult to believe that a book of gold plates was translated through a special seer stone in a hat under the special direction of God and still have thousands of changes from the original, God-directed manuscript!

Does the Mormon God have his own God? Too many LDS leaders taught that their God did indeed have a father God—including Joseph Smith himself. This is a totally unbiblical theology, as well as being totally illogical!!!

Life After Ministry blog is an outstanding source of teachings exposing the lies, the false teachings, false prophets, etc of the Latter-Day Saints. So I’m going to give more links to several articles from this site.

Racism was endemic in the LDS from the very beginning, as show by the many racist teachings in the Book of Mormon.

LDS Canon Still Contains Racist Doctrines. So don’t let the LDS say it being a mistake of the past, etc. My BIG question is, why are there blacks who are Mormons?!?

As I have done before, I will remind the reader of book published by the LDS: Mormonism and the Negro, by John J. Stewart. One of the most racist books you will read.

I am getting so behind in the topics I want to share on this blog as I pray that readers will see the error of the LDS, that I’m going have another collection of links to articles I think are really important.

If you are a Mormon, please thoughtfully study what you read at the linked articles. If you know a Mormon, please share these articles.  The truth about Mormonism and its false belief system is easily discerned if people are truly seeking the God of the Bible.

I just came across this article from August 2019, but I think it is still worth sharing. I hope more of this type of lawsuit takes place.

If the Mormon prophets are truly prophets of God, why do they need to keep changing things?  (The Book of Mormon itself has 4,000 changes.) Temple clothes are another thing being changed —if they got the design from God via Smith?…

Why do Mormons feel the need to continue attacking Christians, all the while claiming they do not do so?

Why is there so much lying by LDS Church leadership? It happens again and again. In fact, the whole of Joseph Smith’s teachings are proven too many times to be nothing but lies.

And it isn’t just lies, but also plagiarisms! And don’t even get me started on the many, many contradictions in Mormon teachings; you can find a lot of those noted on this blog by selecting the subject “Contradictions.” Here’s another link with LDS contradictions.

Think about it — it the church has so many contradictions in its teachings, how can it be from God?

What happened to Zelph? If the story about him is true, why is he not in the forefront of LDS teachings which supposedly prove Joe Smith was a prophet of God?

Joseph Smith claimed Jesus was a polygamist and that he, Joseph, is a descendant of Jesus and therefore is qualified to hold the “keys of salvation.” This is one of the most blasphemous teachings of the Mormon Church.

Well, I guess that’s enough thought-provoking for now — at least I HOPE it provokes thinking. Mormons are still dead in their sins without a real savior.

Random Information About the Mormon Church

The LDS racism was established by God, according Joseph Smith and Brigham Young, who were prophets of God.  For the LDS to LIE now to say it was just part of the times is to say that their prophets weren’t really prophets after all, and that their whole religion is a falling house of cards.  After all, how can the LDS apologize for what God commanded?

A couple months ago I came across an interesting blog by ex-Mormons, with fairly short articles examining various issues which are problematic for the LDS. The blog is called, Life After Ministry. I highly recommend you subscribe to it if you are looking for information exposing the lie of Mormonism. After all, I can’t cover everything!  Most of the links I’m posting this time are from this site.

The LDS and tithing — as with everything else they teach, there is nothing biblical about it.

Tithing seems to be virtually worshipped in the Mormon church, as well as being necessary for salvation.

The Mormons say THEIR god is the only one who hears prayers, calling the Christian God  a “nothing” god. This gives me a chuckle because it is the LDS god which is the imaginary one made up by Joseph Smith.

Random Things From Mormonism Research Ministry

Mormonism Research ministry is one of the best sites to go to for truthful information about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.   I’ve previously linked to many of their articles, but with this post I want to point you to some older articles and some more recent ones, to give you a good taste of what is available on their blog, “Mormon Coffee.”  (Don’t neglect to visit their main site, though, because there you will find some outstanding resources.)

Let’s first look at some older articles.

The Mormons claim that the Septuagint and the Dead Sea Scrolls prove that the Bible we have today is corrupt. This article from February 2010 is an excellent refutation of that claim.

A news report about a man interviewing Mormons about some of their doctrines led to outcry from Mormons about the interview being offensive — that the interviewer was mocking them.  While from what I understand the interviews were not about mocking the Mormons, the Mormon church itself has mocked real Christians since the religion was started by Joseph Smith.  I’d say that Mormons who were offended were nothing less than hypocritical.

A more recent post from 2012 questions whether Mormons can trust the Bible.  The answer, contrary to their claims, is that the Bible we have today is fully trustworthy for accuracy.

From two years ago we have this article about “Changing and Correcting Mormon Scripture”  It’s interesting how the LDS will do their best to cover their tracks.  Truth about their history is something they don’t like to discuss.

What happens when a modern LDS teacher contradicts Brigham Young?  Who are the Mormons supposed to believe?  Technically, I’d say they should go with Young, since he claimed direct revelation from God as a prophet!

The LDS Sunday School course of study this year will be the New Testament.  However, one has to wonder what is the point, since what they believe about the authenticity and accuracy of the Bible leaves a lot to be desired.

As a followup to the previous article, Mormon Coffee demonstrates that the lessons will often use Joseph Smith’s version of the Bible rather than a REAL Bible.  So what they’re learning will still not be orthodox, and will also be quite confusing - as demonstrated in this post.

If anyone ever expects the Mormon Church to apologize for any of their false teachings, for their various violent behaviors (especially during Brigham Young’s reign), insults to the REAL Christian church, or for anything else, they will be severely disappointed.

Historically it was claimed by the Mormons that God commanded the design of their temple garments.  Yet they have been changed over the years to conform more to culture, as if their “god” is not omniscient so as to see what the culture would be.  Or perhaps their god is just fickle and can’t make up his mind?

Most recently, Mormon Coffee has this article about the new essays being done on the official Mormon sites, supposedly to compete with other Internet sources and provide their version of the “truth” of Mormon history, doctrines, etc.  While some of these essays seem to be the Church “coming clean,” I’m sure most will be about revising history.

Did They Really Say That?!?

The garments worn by those who receive endowments must be white and of the approved pattern.  They must not be altered and mutilated and are to be worn as intended, down to the wrist and ankle, and around the neck.  Admission to the temple will be refused those who do not comply with these requirements.  The Saints should know that the pattern of endowment garments was revealed from heaven, and the blessings promised in connection with wearing them will not be realized if any unauthorized change is made in their form or in the manner of wearing them.

The first time I ever saw temple garments was in 1970, and they were short-sleeved and short-legged above the knee.  So if God revealed the design to be down to the wrist and ankle, does that mean no Mormon has been receiving the blessings connected with the garments since the changes were made?  Or do they have another revelation from God giving them a new pattern?

Random Things About Mormonism

As I do with my other blog, The Watchman’s Bagpipes, on this blog I will frequently make a post which will be links to very informative articles about the Mormon faith — beginning with this post.

Most people are aware that Mormons who have been to the temples wear special underwear which are called “temple garments.”  These garments were originally nothing more than long underwear with various Masonic symbols embroidered on them, but they evolved into something that could be worn with any other clothing — but still using the Masonic symbols.  Because Mormons in the past have claimed that these garments have protected the wearer from harm, non-Mormons have given them the derisive name of “magic underwear.”  For this reason, the Mormons made a 4-minute video to explain the use of them.  This video, of course, is not always factual and leaves out lots of history.  Mormonism Research Ministry gives the truth that the video hides.

Mormonism Research Ministry is one of my favorite ministries to use for all things Mormon.  Bill McKeever, who started the ministry years ago, has some outstanding books for use in apologetics with Mormons.  MRM has an excellent blog, Mormon Coffee, which has outstanding articles examining Mormonism past and present.  I will often link to their articles in these “Random…” posts.  The next three items are from Mormon Coffee.

Lorenzo Snow, the fifth president of the LDS, wrote a couplet which summed up a lot about the Mormon view of God and Man:  “As man now is, God once was.  As God now is, man may be.”  Of course this does not even approach real Christianity! Mormon Coffee explains a dilemma this gives Mormons.

Here’s a great article explaining some of the problems with early Mormon marriages, so many of which were not only polygamous, but also polyandrous.

Now here’s a great video someone put together to show what would happen “If Mormon missionaries were straightforward about Mormonism…”

A problem with Mormons’ belief that God was once like man is that God would then have been a sinner.  In real Christianity, God has been eternal and is incapable of sin.  Jesus had to be sinless to pay for our sin.  Watch what happens when Mormons are asked about God sinning.

Did Joseph Smith really see God?  Has anyone seen God?
