Since the Holy Ghost isn’t physical, nor can he procreate, this statement of a belief is entirely absurd!  Remember, Brigham Young was the LDS prophet and President at the time he made this statement.

The Devil has the mastery of the earth: he has corrupted it, and has corrupted the children of men.
