Telling the Truth Can Get You Excommunicated

The Mormons have historically excoriated any Mormon historian who exposed the evil and the lies of Mormon past. If I recall correctly, they’ve even excommunicated some for speaking the truth about the past. In fact, the leadership has stated that historians “should tell only that part of the truth that is inspiring and uplifting.”

I recently reported on a case where a Mormon has exposed how Mormon leaderships’ private sexual interviews have led to sexual abuse, including actual abuse and covert abuse (emotional sexual abuse).  This man, Sam Young (an ex-LDS Bishop) is acting as an historian in that he is exposing the history of these sexual abuses and demanding changes.  In fact, Mr. Young has a site dedicated to his cause, which posts stories from the victims; such stories make one’s heart ache for these children.

Well, I guess Mr. Young didn’t read the rule about not telling truth that isn’t “inspiring and uplifting,” because now he has been summoned for a disciplinary hearing and faces excommunication.

Remember, the LDS lied about practicing polygamy and other sexual immorality while in Nauvoo, and when William Law exposed the truth his printing presses and newspaper were destroyed. They do NOT like their secrets exposed.

All I can say is that a TRUE Church of Christ wouldn’t have a problem with truth.

Did They Really Say That?!?

One of the first doctrines to disappear when apostasy conceives in the hearts of mortals is the fact that God is a glorified man. When people repress that doctrine, they forget who they really are and what they may become (cf. the Zoramites, Alma 31:15)

So, when Christians teach that God is a spirit, as Scripture says in John 4:24, that is an apostate doctrine?! Where in the Bible does it teach that God is a “glorified man”?  This idea was invented by Joseph Smith and was never a doctrine of the Jews or Christians.

Numbers 23:19:  God is not a man…neither the soon man…
1 Samuel 15:29: for [God] is not a man…
Hosea 11:9: For I am God, and not man…
Luke 39: …for a spirit hath not flesh and bones…

The Word of God is quite clear that God was never a man, but is an eternal spirit.  The apostasy, and abject heresy, is the LDS doctrine of God as a man who had to earn his way to godhood.

This is followed by the heresy which say what we really are, are people who are earning our way to godhood also, and that we were spirit children of this god-man and his wives.  Man was created by THE God who is a spirit with no body and had no sexual intercourse.

Mormons, you have been greatly deceived and worship a false god and false Christ, neither of which will save you from your sins.

A Collection of Links to Good Articles Exposing Various Aspects of Mormonism

How’s that for a post title!

I noted a while back that I found a great site, Life After Ministry, refuting all things Mormon, and most of the links below come from that site. Michelle really does some great picking apart of LDS teachings, demonstrating conclusively over and over again that the LDS is nothing more than a non-Christian cult. The articles linked to are too good to not share with my readers!  Be discerning, be wise, and be open to learning the truth.

When dealing with the Mormons, or any other cult, always get them to define their terms. You will find they do not speak the same language. A perfect example is the Mormon teaching about Adam and Eve, who certainly aren’t the Adam and Eve of the bible. And, of course, the Holy Ghost of the LDS is not the Holy Spirit of the Bible — just like their God and Jesus aren’t the same as in the Bible.  Proving once again that the LDS is not a Christian organization.

Before we finish with defining terms, don’t forget to get them to define just who Mary, the mother of Jesus, was; the Mormon’s false Mary is held to high esteem. This article about the LDS Mary is an excellent supplement to my article on the same topic — or perhaps MY article would be the supplement!

The Mormon Jesus doesn’t make it to heaven. Or does He? Don’t they teach that he was a polygamist

LDS Divine Authority, Priesthood, and Blacks: what a disaster of ideology.

Did you know that Noah lived in America and built his ark here? But doesn’t the Bible tell us he lived and built the ark in what is now the Middle East? Did you know that before the Flood, all the inhabitants of America were righteous? And that Zion was in America? And that Enoch preached in America? If this was true, ’’t we have read about all this in the Bible?  These are just some more of the many false, as well as bizarre, teachings of the Mormon Church. (Be sure to read Michelle’s comments on both these articles.)

There is absolutely NO evidence for any of Mormonism’s claims.  NONE, NADA, ZIP.

The LDS is fixated on sex to where they teach it is better to be dead than to lose one’s chastity.  If a female is raped, it would be better is she died. If someone fornicates, it would be better if they were dead.  This is HORRID teaching!

The many lies of the LDS which are told to help their members keep their faith.  This type of propaganda is only necessary with cults.  Now you have the information to counter these lies.

When it comes to lies, they pretend that Christians can’t answer six questions that Mormons were able to answer.

If their religion wasn’t built on lies, there wouldn’t be a Mormon religion.  Examples abound, such as this article about their lying abuse of Scripture.

I hope you learned some good information from this collection.  Put it to good use when witnessing to Mormons.

Sexual Abuse in the Mormon Church

Joseph Smith originated sexual abuse in the Mormon church when he coerced young women (as young as 14) into sexual relations under the auspices of “celestial marriage.”  Then the whole idea of polygamy (which is abuse of wives, etc) became doctrine. Of course Smith and other polygamists claimed there were no plural marriages going on in Nauvoo; i.e. lying about polygamy that was indeed taking place.

When Mormon leadership decided to have a manifesto denouncing polygamy (essentially so Utah could become a state), Mormons continued to lie about it taking place for many more years. Protecting sexual predators is part of Mormon history.

The article even points out that this predator was just shuffled around to other locations — sort of like the way Catholicism handles their predator priests!

In addition to the HUFFPOST article, I came across another article which demonstrates the horrid sexuality teaching the LDS forces on children, and their rampant child sex abuse. (Be sure to watch the whole video to learn about the odd things they teach in regards to human sexuality.)

So with the history of sexual abuse and sexual immorality in the LDS cult, and their lying to cover it all up from the beginning, these articles didn’t really surprise me.  After all, when their religion is all about control, money, and sex, what else could you expect?

Did They Really Say That?!?

If it had not been for Joseph Smith and the restoration, there would be no salvation. There is no salvation outside The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Bruce McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, p.471

So, according to the LDS, our salvation rests with Joseph Smith?  And unless you are a member of the LDS you cannot be saved?

The first lie is that there was a restoration of the church.  Since the Christian Church never ceased to exist since the Resurrection of Christ, there would be no need for a “restoration.”  The LDS claims the Church ceased to exist but offers no proof that it did so, nor is there anywhere in actual historical records which states the Church ever ceased to exist.

The second lie is that without Joseph Smith there would be no salvation. Our salvation is through Jesus and NOT through anyone else.

The third lie is that there is no salvation outside the LDS.  In actuality, there is no salvation WITHIN the LDS, since the LDS worships a false Christ and a false God.

The Mormon faith is base on lies from the very beginning of its being invented by Joseph Smith.
