Book of Mormon Greek and Latin Word Chart

If Joseph Smith translated the book of Mormon into English from an unknown language, why does the BOM have so many Greek and Latin words??? 

Over at Life After Ministry blog they have an outstanding chart showing how many Latin and Greek words are in the BOM. Granted, many of these words were in common use at the time of translation, but words that are left in the Greek or Latin form rather than another English word leads one to think the whole translation is a fraud.
